Nitrile gloves are made out of synthetic rubber. They are stretchable and puncture resistant. These attribuates are used in medical and chemical fields equally. They contain no latex in their raw materials, which is a perfect alternative to those who have latex allergy. They also protect from risky situations where the wearer may come in contact with the harmful chemicals in laboratory or other work situations with hazardous chemicals.

How Nitrile Gloves are Manufactured:

These gloves are made by synthetic rubber. The nitrile butadiene rubber(NBR) used for nitrile gloves is a copolymer, which is a substance derived through the bonding of different molecules. In the case of NBR,the two parts are butadiene and acrylonitrile, which chemists combine using a process known as copolymerization. These molecules provide specific advantages for the gloves:Acrylonitrile enhances the chemical resistance, while butadiene creates flexibility and tear resistance.

Here are the manufacturing process:

Initially, the manufacturing machine removes any stains and previous elements from the formers shaped like a hand. They are immersed in a solution of calcium carbonate and calcium nitrate and dried.

These formers were then immersed in a container containing NBR.

After heating and cooling the liquid on these formers to make the glove, the process continues.

Next, let's put it on. Nitrile gloves undergo polymerization or chlorination. In the polymerization, a layer of polymer is added to the glove. In the chlorination reaction, these gloves are placed in a chlorine solution, either in gas or in an acidic form. This is done to make the materials used in them stronger.

Finally, they are removed from the shaped bodies commonly referred to as the stripping stage.
