Shelf life guidelines

Although the exact shelf life depends on the specific materials ato make the gloves and storage facilities , the general rule of thumb is that the disposable nitrile gloves are 5 years.

While most manufacturers do not guarantee this, many disposable nitrile gloves are stored for up to 10 years without any obvious  damage. However, please note that these shelf life do not apply to gloves that are removed from the original packaging or exposed to moisture.

If you pull some gloves off the shelf, they look relatively "normal", which means they can stretch without obvious surface cracks, can be worn without tearing and then they may still use it safely and provide the right level of protection you need. The use of unsafe gloves is very obvious. They become very brittle, tear easily, and have a hardened appearance that breaks easily when stretched.
